Conscious Gear Expo NYC 2009

This event will be co-hosted by youth advocates who will facilitate critical thinking workshops, as well as socially-conscious t-shirt entrepreneurs who will introduce participants to the art of t-shirt design. We anticipate a dynamic group of participants and community stakeholders, including 40 children and young adults, boutique owners, clothing label representatives, and local elected officials.

10:15am-11:00am	Critical Thinking Workshop (participants identify critical issues and potential solutions)
11:00am-12:00pm	Messaging Workshop (participants develop t-shirt messages and explain them to their small group)
12:00pm-1:00pm	Lunch (T-shirts printed)
1:00pm-2:00pm	Presentations & Discussion (participants share t-shirts and explain messaging to large group)
2:00pm-2:30pm	T-shirt Judging
2:30pm-2:45pm	Program Wrap-up
